Several “families” of machines have come together at RJH to give us the most comprehensive range of industrial finishing machines manufactured in the UK.
The original portfolio of workshop equipment with the zoological references through which the company made its reputation is still in production. The merger with Morrisflex’s machines division in 1999 brought into the stable polishing systems from Canning, Hammond and Harper (the Harperizer range), belt grinders from Grit, Sinjet and Meggit (the Meggamaster range), pedestal grinders from Greif UK, and the more specialized, bespoke finishing systems from Morrisflex itself, such as the Powerfin, and Autofin brands. Much development work has taken place in recent years both on existing and new products. Of particular note are the extensive upgrades of the Powerfin 1100, Powerfin Bull and Powerfin 1900 wet through feed machines.
Our speciality is the customisation of standard machines to suit specific application requirements – for example modifying guarding, electrical compatibility and controls. We also work closely with a number of dust extraction specialists to design and manufacture complete machine/extraction solutions. We have supplied systems to many well-known companies, including Corus, Depuy, Biomet, Bentley, Johnson & Johnson, British Aerospace, Airbus and Jaguar, and our machines have been installed in factories around the world, including Korea, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, The UAE and many European countries.
Our key industrial markets include automotive, aerospace, defence, orthopaedics, further and higher education, precision engineering, foundries and investment casters. Below are some examples of the types of components that our machines have been used to finish.
To complete our range we are also UK agents for several overseas companies.
